Specific Arrangements for CEPA

Hong Kong and Macau service suppliers are permitted to establish wholly-owned or joint venture convention & exhibition companies in mainland China. From the 1 January 2007, Hong Kong investment convention & exhibition companies incorporated in mainland China will be permitted to operate their exhibition in Hong Kong and Macau.

Requirements for Service Suppliers

• The investors shall be companies or other economic organisations
• They have experience and achievements in hosting international exhibitions, specialist exhibitions or international conventions

Registered Capital

• Subject to the scale of operation, but in no way less than RMB30,000

Required Documents

• Application for incorporation
• Contracts and articles of association for incorporation (only the articles of association shall be submitted for wholly-owned creation)
• Investor's certificate of incorporation, certificate of legal representative, appointment letters of the Board members, bank reference letter, certificate of Hong Kong and Macau service supplier
• Enterprise Name Approval in Advance Notice
• Supporting documents of the foreign investor of having hosted international expos, international specialist exhibitions or international conventions
